"Here we are  just outside of Musutafu Police Headquarters where we are waiting for our ex-Pillar of Peace Liquid Steel is being escorted to his prison escort. Today has marked the second month since the infamous Blue Riot, where our hero had seemingly lost all control due to a new and dangerous drug called Trigger and, as a result, killed the villain Black Striker, the notorious head of the League of Villains, causing numerous casualties and wide-spread panic in the process. A recent update states that because of his actions our top heroes are under investigation to see if they used the drug as well. We will keep you notified as we're updated with the situation."

The year is 2455. It has been hundreds of years since the discovery of the very first quirk holder was discovered and with it the idea of heroes and villains, although with the most recently elected Pillar of Peace it seemed that villainy as a whole was a concept that was falling apart. The hero Liquid Steel had introduced various systems and ideas in collaboration with police that had helped prevent villainy from occurring. As this was occurring the nefarious villain Black Striker was also on the move, organizing a large villain organization designed to better combat these new systems, although he was losing. In a last ditch effort to prevail and to finally defeat the number 1 hero Black Striker and his organization launched an all-out assault in the market square of Musutafu, causing hundreds of casualties within the first hour alone.

This riot was one was meant to be as chaotic as possible, to lure the number 1 hero out and show that the Pillar of Peace can break underneath the pressure of chaos. Things didn't go as planned however when the hero did appear, and immediately tore a hole directly through Black Striker. In the midst of this attack however Liquid Steel lost control and began attacking everything indiscriminately. While reports have yet to specify what exactly had occurred witness reports described it as though they had seen a wild animal tearing its prey apart, and police have counted the total dead from the hero's losing control to be in the double digits, while those injured have ended up in the 300s.

After he had finally wore himself out special forces were able to apprehend Liquid Steel, where they discovered the drug named Trigger; an underground drug designed to increase the effectiveness of a previously weak quirk to something of monstrous capabilities, although at the cost of the user losing their sense of reason. With this discovery numerous heroes and civilians lost faith in both the hero and the police, creating a sharp spike in Vigilante activity, while due to their oppressive leader being defeated, the effect on the villains was completely opposite to what was intended, with a sharp increase in villain activity and crime being widespread throughout the entire city due to their forming their own groups and causing havoc freely.

In this next step in a chaotic world the prestigious U.A Academy had opened their doors to every aspiring hero with a quirk, allowing for applicants to bypass the entrance exam until they can review and modify it to suit the desperate times they are in now. With these rapid changes happening, it is only up to baseless speculation as to what the future may have in store.
